Robert Bury & Company (Canada) was established in 1904, in Toronto, Ontario as a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Bury Co. Ltd., Liverpool, England. The company was originally in the business of wholesaling domestic and tropical hardwood lumber to the local furniture manufacturers. In 1947, W.J. Caine, the grandfather of our current president, W.T. Caine, purchased 100% of Robert Bury Co. Ltd.
Today we operate 9 sales and distribution centers that are strategically located throughout Canada from Manitoba to the Maritimes, as well as in the state of Massachusetts, USA. Robert Bury & Co. has long been recognized as a an industry leader in the sales and distribution of Formica® brand plastic laminate, hardwood lumber, melamine and acrylic panels, plywood products, cabinet hardware, and various other high quality products and accessories to the furniture, kitchen cabinet, store fixture, millwork and other woodworking related industries.
